Hello All,
My name is Onita Brown, LMSW, LNFA. I was born in Lufkin, TX, and raised in Nacogdoches, TX. I graduated from Nacogdoches High School, as an early graduate in 3 years. I initially attended PrairieView A&M, with dreams to become a Physician but later transferred to SFASU, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s (’07) and Master’s (’11) in Social Work. I have been an Administrator for 2 years and a Social Worker for 12 years. I have been in the Nursing Home Industry, for 8 years. My career began working for a non-profit organization and Child Protective Services, as a Social Worker, working in Specialty Units. I believe that the Elderly and Disabled Populations have a lot to offer and are very vulnerable populations, who deserve to be cared for and protected, with the highest regard. My goals are to always improve Customer Service, Clinical Excellence, and Cleanliness of Buildings. I love to see happy Residents. I also love to focus on Employee Morale. Happy employees mean teamwork and a positive environment, for me. Overall, healthcare and people are my passion and purpose, in life.
